Part of my profession includes teaching of residents and medical students. Along with education in my field of Otolarygology, I (and many doctors in general) also provide instruction, advice and guidance in areas outside of medicine. Amongst these are topics on work-life balance, burn-out prevention, business and personal finance.
Below are a sundry of topics for doctors-in-training, gleaned from my prior lectures, blog site and one-one discussions with residents and medical students.

Political Incorrectness: A Natural Human Phenomenon
Shooting and Relaxation and Clearing the Mind

The Doctor's Office Experience: Frightening or Fascinating?
Unstructured Time: The Lost Art
Below is a PDF on the basics of business. This lecture "handout" morphed into a mini-book, written in narrative format, and discusses the rudiments of business and how this affects those in the medical profession. It was written as a fundamental primer on business, with the assumption that young physicians-in-training (myself included, back in the day) have little to no business knowledge. It provides examples with plenty of illustrations of business activity and transactions one commonly encounters in our profession. Note: this is a work in progress, and from time to time the contents will be changed or modified. Like most things, business education continuously is in flux.
