Dr. Hofferber studied at the University of Redlands in California, where she received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science Degrees in Communicative Disorders. She later received her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Hofferber practiced a broad scope of audiology while in Southern California for 10 years. She worked in several multispecialty medical clinics and ENT physician practice environments. She moved to the Tri-Cities where she has been practicing since 1998. She thus has a broad experience with pediatric and adult patients, treating and diagnosing a high volume of those with hearing impairment. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, has a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech and Hearing Association, and is a Licensed Audiologist in the State of Washington.

We offer services to determine the cause and extent of an individual's hearing problem. Dr. Hofferber provides complete diagnostic testing in order to determine potential causes. Being a member of a medical practice, she often works in collaboration with Dr. Fong in order to render the most appropriate treatment. Dr. Hofferber offers hearing testing for adults and children. Dr. Hofferber has vast experience in the design and creation of the most ideal aid or amplification device to improve the hearing problem. She works with a variety of well-known manufacturers to provide the best possible device to suit an individual's specific needs.

We provide custom made devices for individuals working in loud, noisy environments, as well as for recreational activities such as firearm hunting and shooting. Dr. Hofferber also can create custom devices to protect the ears from water exposure for children and adults, which is particularly helpful for avid swimmers or others involved in water activities.
